Will they stay in if I sleep on my side?

That is what the shapes are for. Each one sits low in the ear rather than sticking out, so the pillow presses your ear more than the plug. If yours work loose when you turn over, start with Wing: a soft fin tucks into the fold of your ear to hold it in place.

Will they hurt after a full night?

They should not. They are soft silicone, not foam, so nothing swells in your ear overnight. If you feel pressure, the tip is too big. Try the next size down for a full night.

Will I still hear my alarm?

Most likely, but check. These soften noise rather than removing it, so an alarm or someone saying your name usually still gets through. Ears and alarms differ, so set a test alarm on your first night. If you need to hear a baby or someone you care for, do not rely on earplugs.
