Fit and sizing
Start with the medium tips. If you feel pressure, move down a size. If sound leaks in, move up. Ears differ between people and often between your own two ears, so mixing sizes is normal.

Rinse in warm water, air dry fully, store in the case. No alcohol, no boiling, no dishwasher.

Yes. These reduce noise, they do not remove it. A phone alarm beside the bed still wakes you, which is exactly how it should be. If you already sleep through alarms, use vibration as well.
Will they stay in if I sleep on my side?
That is what the shape is for. They sit flush rather than sticking out, so a pillow presses against the ear and not against the plug.
Will they hurt after a full night?
They should not. If they do, the tip size is wrong. Try the next size down, and if it still is not right, send them back within 30 nights.
Which shape should I pick?
Start with Soft. It suits most people. Choose Deep if you like a firmer, more sealed feel, and Slim if earplugs usually feel too big. All three cost the same, so pick on fit rather than budget.
